In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasThat worked! I removed the Better WP Security coding in the .htaccess file and I am now able to access the admin areas network-wide. I will re-enable some of the functions from the security plugin and if it happens to do it again I’ll isolate the change and make sure I do not use that specific one. Thank you GREATLY for all of your time & help with this. I truly appreciate it.

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasAlso, should I rename (or delete) the Better WP Security as well, in addition to that?

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasOk. I actually had a feeling that may had been the problem. No I still am unable to access the admin console. Would you advise for me to simply remove the coding section that Better WP Security created on the .htaccess file, leaving the original coding as well as the W3 Total Cache coding? Or just copy the “Begin WordPress” section & create the new file from that?

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasI’m running a sub-domain multisite. I thank you again for helping me out with this. I checked for the readme.html and I do indeed have that, located in <wp_base>/readme.html — Here is my current .htaccess file:
[Please use a pastebin for that much code per http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Posting_Code ]Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasWow that was weird. You’re right: http://marlon.co is working now, and I didn’t even realize that until you told me. I had actually renamed it and then changed it back to it’s original name and now that works. Yet you’re also right, I’m still unable to access the admin area. Is there a way to fix/reset/troubleshoot the .htaccess to solve this? I’m not that knowledgeable regarding that.

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasOk. I did a test to see if it was the theme by renaming the theme (Flare) directory; the problem still occured.. so it may be the content. I have to somehow figure out how to remove that line of code without being able to access the admin area.

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasThanks, I appreciate you taking a look at it. So to solve that, should I try renaming the theme (Flare) folder directory since I can’t access the admin settings to disable it, or what do I do?

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasAwesome idea and advice. After trying that however (renaming the plugin directory), I’m still not able to access the admin area.

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasI am unable to do that, as I cannot access the network admin area (nor individual site admin areas). I would have to completely remove them from the host server, something of which I do not want to do unless you feel that is definitely the issue…

In reply to: ERROR 404 "Not Found": Cannot Access Multisite Admin AreasHi. It looks like the main site, which in my case is: http://marlon.co — Regarding the child sites when the 404 occurs it looks like their respective sites. If you go to my main site, you can see it. Sometimes the site begins to load as normal, and then it quickly jumps to “marlon.co/not-found” or sometimes “marlon.co/false” and then loads the 404 page.

In reply to: Cannot Access Network Admin Several Subdomain AdminsNo, I’m currently running 3.5.1
UPDATE:
I reset the mapped domain back to the default subdomain, then switched it back to the mapped domain and it cleared up the issue. I’m not sure what happened, but I will have to use another password protection plugin in the meantime until this domain mapping issue is resolved. I do however love the simplicity of this plugin and hope that I will be able to use it again one day.

Now I have a very serious issue: I cannot access the homepage front-end.
After the earlier-mentioned issue began (above), I began to have problems with logging in the password. When I entered the correct password, the URL would flicker back & forth between the site domain & a very long “http://example.com/=login-attempt..etc” URL query. After flashing back & forth several times it would eventually say “unknown login key”. I can access the back-end, and I later realized I can access a sub-page directly, but I can’t access the main homepage on the front-end.
This is a serious issue and need this fixed as soon as possible. The site is going live two days from now (with password protection required). I can email you any website/FTP login information you desire. Please help with this. Thank you.
