One solution it could be if the zedity button appears in the editor of WP User Frontend plug in, for example. When you activate the TinyMCE Advanced plugin you can see all the buttons in back and front end, but the zedity button it isn’t shown.

yes, I’m using WPMU, and buddypress, and I mean, every site admin could restrict the access only their friends (buddypress), not for all who logged in, something like facebook, where you can restrict the access to only your friends and not for the whole community
