Hello @shannonsadik
Thank you for reaching out. I’m Richard from the Elementor Team, and I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
Since custom fonts and CSS are not available in the Core (free) version of Elementor, it appears you are implementing this with a third-party tool/plugin. Unfortunately, support for third-party plugins and conflicts is out of our support scope here.
If you are using the Pro version of Elementor for the custom fonts and CSS, you can reach out to our support team directly at https://elementor.com/help/how-to-submit-a-support-ticket/. They can provide more detailed assistance and help you get your pages working correctly again. Due to the regulations of the WordPress support forum, we can only offer support here for the Elementor Core (free) plugin, and not for commercial licenses. This limits our support scope to comply with these guidelines.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
If there’s anything else we can help you with, please feel free to let us know!Best regards,
RichardHello @itsme57
Thank you for reaching out. I’m Richard from the Elementor Team, and I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
The error you’re describing usually happens when the theme no longer has this variable or is broken. This is required for the editor to work. Please switch to a compatible theme and let us know if the issue persists.Have a great day!
Kind regards,
Richard@gemart1 yes that appears to be more the case than anything else. On an iPhone with the current iOS, it works fine. The Android OS may be outdated or incompatible with newer browser versions that support this function.
Hello @gemart1
Thank you for the update! I’m sorry to hear the issue still persists.
As I could not replicate the issue on my test site, it appears to be specific to the site. It may be something else incompatible with the new version of Elementor. To determine this, the troubleshooting steps are recommended. Another option would be to clone the site (create a staging site), and proceed with the steps there to find out what is causing the issue.
Kind regards,

Can you please elaborate on the steps that lead to the critical error? As the issue appears to be specific to the installation, please consider reinstalling Elementor, deactivating all other plugins, and switching the theme to Hello. Make sure you have a backup in place before proceeding. The path suggests something with the AI not working. Is this correct?
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,Hello @gemart1
Thank you for providing the link. Checking on an iPhone, the Ken Burns is working as you mentioned. Can you please update to the latest version of Elementor so we can check it on our end and replicate the issue?
There have been no reports that is is not working with the latest version; I am not able to replicate the issue on my test site: https://fvwucgie.elementor.cloud/ken/. It appears to be another factor conflicting with this.
Is there any custom code on the page? Have you tried the update with only the Hello theme and no other plugins activated? Ensure a backup is in place before proceeding with this.Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
RichardHello @saznajmo
Thank you for your reply. I understand your concern of monitoring caching issues and manually clearing them. I can confirm that Regenerating CSS & Data manually is something that usually does not have to be done (rare situations) for reasons stated here: https://elementor.com/help/regenerate-css-data/.
Clearing cache, on the other hand, is something that we suggest after any design changes or new content. Besides that, no conflicts have been reported between the two plugins (using Containers), and they are a common combo. In some case, LiteSpeed may need to be adjusted in the settings. Sometimes hosting providers have their own caching mechanisms, so it could also be a conflict there. Please let us know if we can assist you further in this case.
Kind regards,
RichardHello @toad78
Thank you for the update. Can you please confirm if you have also performed the other recommendations my colleague made?
If your CDN or optimization plugin is minifying or combining JS and CSS files, please turn off those settings for Elementor. Finally, please make sure all plugins, your theme, and Elementor are updated.
WPEngine may have a caching option for the installation. This appears to be the slider you are referring to: https://prnt.sc/shCpVgBySRZD.
Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for reaching out. I’m Richard from the Elementor Team, and I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
I can replicate the issue on an iPhone. Can you please send us a screenshot of the background settings with the video of the container in mobile view, for Layout, Style, and Advanced: https://prnt.sc/ZW22VCa7FuNv?
If set correctly, it should work. Also try isolating the container on a separate page with Elementor Canvas layout.
If you’re a Elementor Pro user, you can also open a ticket under my.elementor.com, which would enable us to log in to the website and check the issue in depth.
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a great day/evening!

Thank you for reaching out. I’m Richard from the Elementor Team, and I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing the issue.
It might be a conflict with your theme or plugins. Please follow these steps and let me know if it solves the issue:
Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate each plugin until you spot the problematic one. You can temporarily switch your WordPress theme to Hello Elementor (or another default theme) and see if it solves your error.
Please ensure you have a backup in place for all these steps.
I hope this information helps you.

In reply to: [Hello Elementor] Customizer showing critical errorHello @asmasiddique567
Thank you for reaching out. I’m Richard from the Elementor Team, and I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing.
To confirm, you are referring to the Theme Customizer as shown here, correct? https://www.loom.com/share/eb46ccec8c3b4579aadd68ab6b5551ba
This option should normally be available regardless of theme installed as it is under the WordPress Appearance settings.
Please also try reinstalling the theme from the WordPress repository instead of copying it from the other site. It may also be a conflict with another plugin; with a backup in place, please temporarily deactivate any other plugins.Looking forward to your reply.
