    Thanks David,
I’ll give it some serious testing when I have a bit more spare time.

For now though, looking good. Thank you once again for taking the time to work on this.

    Very much appreciated.

    WOW!, Thanks David,
are there any downsides to installing the development version on a live site?

    Wow – thank you David.
Not really expecting that, I thought there may be a way with the current interface that I was missing!

    Cheers

    Hi David,
thank you for the very prompt response.
I had a feeling that what I was asking for was probably tricky, otherwise, it’s likely to have been part of the interface already 🙂

I’ve might have over confused things in the way that I have referred to Att.Categories and Att.Tags.

To simplify the request it would be to have an additional radio button alongside the And/Or buttons on the admin screen for ‘Not’ [or ‘Exclude’ if you prefer]. This would apply to keywords in the ‘Search Media’ text box and would allow us to select an Att.Category or Att.Tag and ‘exclude’ a particular keyword from the search.

So in my scenario, ‘Features’ are a child category of the ‘Property’ category. But currently, unless I’m missing an alternative way of approaching this [hence my question in the forum], I can’t see a way of searching in the admin screen media library for only images with the category of ‘Property’ but not ‘Features’. The reverse is easy of course because searching for features only can be narrowed down.

I’m not overly technical, so it may be that there is an easier solution. I’m old school and remember search functions having the option of ‘Not’, so it’s possible I’m just stuck with the old mindset 🙂

Hope this makes things slightly clearer or confirms what you thought.

    Cheers.

    Hi Prathamesh,
the subscribers are getting the emails OK. The problem was the administrator was not receiving notification when a new subscriber signs up. I cleared the problem by changing to single opt in, then back to double opt in.

    Thanks anyway

No problem David – I suspected that it was a Theme specific problem. The PHP stuff is way outside of my abilities so I will live with it for now. Thanks for taking the time respond none the less. Keep up the good work.

    Cheers

    Hi David,
I’m having the same problem as ‘customle’above. I’m wondering if this is an issue when used with a theme that uses ‘Visual Composer’? I don’t get any display for ‘featured in’ or ‘inserted in’. The options have been chosen from within the screen options pull down at the top of the screen and in the settings they are both ‘enabled’. I’m using images in the themes own gallery not an mlc-gallery or using shortcodes.

Here is the code for a page with one the themes galleries. The last line shows the ID’s for the images used but they don’t show up in the MLA as having been inserted, featured in etc.

I’m not overly technical so any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Steve

Honestly, you can let the fun side leak out on occasion without it breaking the image of being professional at what you do as well. Portraits can present an alternative side of you, or can add some context to what you are all about. If you set aside some time, we can combine the slightly more  serious and the informal look into the same session.

The informal portrait ‘look’ doesn’t have to be created in a photography studio. More often than not, especially if you want to add context, the photographs are taken in a place that has some meaning to either you or the viewer. This can be in your home, your place of work, or just somewhere that you enjoy visiting. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed enough to let out the inner you.

Whether you’re an actor, need a portrait for a dating site, or would just like a great shot for that special someone in your life, you’ve come to the right place. Thanks for the kind offer David.

Details, as requested, in separate emails.
I can’t remember if I said that I’ve also tried deactivating all plugins except for MLA as well, and as a final check, I tried logging in on a completely different machine (PC rather than Mac) to eliminate the obvious.

    Good luck and thanks again.

    Hi David
thanks for the quick response. I’ve been using MLA for over six months now and this seems to have happened since last nights automatic update to 3.8.1

In the MLA view the rollover actions no longer appear. I’ve tried resetting to the default within the settings, clearing browser caches etc. Restarting, rebooting and alternative browsers as I say. I’ve also gone through turning on and off various options of display within MLA but still no change.

Very strange behaviour as it was working to start with. I literally left my machine after half an hour of editing, to go for something to eat. On my return nada, nothing, zilch – bugger all 🙂

    ctm49

Gave that a try. Deactivated/Deleted every plug-in except for NextGen Gallery. Easy for me to do as a newbie who hasn’t got tons of stuff added in yet, luckily. I wanted to test everything before going ahead with this. Must be a real nightmare for those who are relying on this with a lot of galleries etc.
