In reply to: [Euphony Blocks] Add faviconHi,
Thanks for replying..
—There is no “Customize => Site Identity” in the Appearance menu. This would be why I’m posting here.. need a theme specific solution.—
EDIT: Found it in WP Settings menu.. Apparently WP moved it to site level settings and I didn’t know/remember. Thanks
Also, the top banner, advertising the pro version, doesn’t permanently dismiss.. kinda annoying.

In reply to: [PressBook News Dark] posts not showing correctlyOK I figured out what was creating the weird post summaries.. I had used a plugin, “Auto Limit Posts Reloaded” to set custom limits in twenty-fourteen. Deactivating it resolved issue.
So far so good.. will give it a week or 2, then purchase the upgraded version.
Thanks again

In reply to: [PressBook News Dark] posts not showing correctlyGot the first item almost sorted.. We do have summary set but it’s duplicating parts of the posts (go check the live site to see what I mean)
Will try that CSS and let you know..
Top banner block isn’t working correctly.. showing as a paragraph, not reading the pattern/block I created for it.
Thanks

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Site broken after deactivation/deletion attemptNevermind. We used the nuclear option and nuked it from orbit.. It was, afterall, the only way to be sure.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Excessive files creation issuepretty much killed our file system on the site that used this plugin.. we have tried to de-activate and delete it however its timing out during the deactivation sequence.
It continues to show a timeout when loading the wp-admin, the site itself. How do we get the site back online?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] NEW: Increased credit card testing attacksAhh I see..
We’re not using the blocks.. we are using the default classic “page” based checkout flow. (we don’t do and/or support gutenberg here, long story.) So, unless those page templates have been updated to use the same workflow as the blocks, it shouldn’t be using that checkout-draft status if I read that correctly. Just saying.
Currently, as of today, not seeing any attacks (knock on wood). so maybe one of the suggested mitigation ideas curbed it for now.
Thanks once again.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] NEW: Increased credit card testing attacksThanks for the reply and the link to that guide page. It has some great ideas and usable suggestions .
Will monitor this situation and update as needed.
Just a question, as mentioned in the linked topic; was there anything noticed, determined, or otherwise regarding the attackers setting the purchase attempt to “draft” during their attacks? That may ‘something’ to look at if not.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Can pages be featured content on homepageI thought as much… thanks for the reply.
We are using a builder for that page, Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Not sure if it talks to WP when a widget is inserted into a block element or not.. but will copy that css into our custom css field and see what happens.
Will update after testing…
UPDATE: Adding the css seems to solve my issue.. SiteOrigin might want to know about this change as well.. :p

@piebaribua I’m not using wordpress.com
I think it’s a Jetpack update thing.. but no way to tell from my end as we have plugins set to auto-update.. so no Idea when last update was. I do know it started about the same time as yours did without changing anything on the site.@piebaribua I’m not using elementor and it did the exact same thing on my site.. was working for a long time then just didn’t.. I’m more inclined to think a jetpack update borked the css or something like that. I have tried removing/re-adding the widget as well as the plugin, and still no joy as well.
I deactivated and reactivated and that seemed to bring the missing gallery / widget features back. It didn’t resolve the missing css. I will try complete removal / reinstall as a last ditch effort.
Something else I just noticed today that could be related.. The jetpack img gallery options, tilerd, column, slider, etc isn’t showing up when you create a new gallery.

Not a happy user here.
UPDATE: Now, the Jetpack additional widgets are completely missing and breaking the website.
(Error: The widget Jetpack_Top_Posts_Widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin. Post on the support forums if you need help.
The widget Jetpack_Subscriptions_Widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin. Post on the support forums if you need help.)(post isn’t accepting image)
We are not using any caching or code loading modification plugins on the site. (We do use Cloudflare but have made no recent changes, if it matters.) From what I can tell, there is no reason that the jetpack css shouldn’t be loading. It just stopped working a day or 2 ago without any changes made to the site.
My site has this problem as well. Following this thread.
