It depends what you have specified for your FTP settings…
Host, user, and password determine the destination/output/where the zip file is uploaded to…(It is NOT saved within the plugins folder.)
Does this help? If not shoot me a reply. π

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-InstantBackup] FTP Settings invalid!Hi immanence,
Is this your own web host or are you hosting your site with WordPress.org? If you want I can hop on MSN or something and help you get it working. π
You shouldn’t need to specify public_html anywhere…for example here are my settings:
Host = backups.mydomain.com
Username = [email protected]
Password = *******Notice I don’t specify the http:// or ftp:// anywhere..just the hostname. Can you try the following for yours, without “ftp” anywhere?
Host: mydomain.com
User: [email protected]
Password: *******Forum: Plugins
