In reply to: [Performance Lab] DO NOT USE – Completly screw up my imagesHi @remedia222,
Could you please share a bit more information about the issue you’re experiencing?
Also, does the error go away if you deactivate the Modern Image Formats plugin? That will help us determine if the plugin is the source of the problem.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi @tobaco, thanks for opening this issue and providing such a detailed explanation.
You’re right that this situation where an image appears sharp on desktop but becomes blurry on mobile due to
object-fitand extreme cropping is a known challenge, especially with the Cover block and similar full-height layouts. To clarify, does this same behavior happen even when the plugin is deactivated (i.e., using WordPress’s default responsive image handling)? From what you’ve described, this seems like a broader issue in WordPress’s default
sizesattribute logic, which tends to rely heavily on width-based calculations, not accounting for height-based usage patterns likeobject-fit: cover. If that’s the case, we recommend opening a ticket on WordPress Core Trac for better visibility and long-term tracking: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/newticket
In the meantime, we’ll also look into whether there’s a reliable way to detect and optimize for this use case from within the plugin. If we find a viable solution such as supporting minimum size fallbacks or conditionally skipping optimization. we’ll consider including it in a future release.
Also, you might be interested in this related discussion in the HTML spec repo around height-based
sizescalculation: https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/2973
It’s been open for some time, which shows how complex this issue is even at the spec level. Thanks again for flagging this!

In reply to: [View Transitions] Requested features@flixos90 These was addressed and release in latest version of plugin. Could you please make as resolved.
The plugin does work on WordPress 6.3.2 out of the box, but we can’t officially support it due to our version support policy. While there may be workarounds to make it function, we don’t recommend using them.
We strongly suggest using the plugin with WordPress 6.6 or higher, as it’s always best practice to stay up to date with the latest version of WordPress for better performance, security, and compatibility.

The plugin does not support custom themes.
The themes listed below are themes that are supported in the Auto Load Next Post plugin or supported within the theme or via a support plugin.
If you are a developer then you can adjust jquery selectors and code as per plugin need and it will be working fine then.
If you are facing issue in latest version then downgrade you Contact Form 7 plugin to old version and make it working for now.
Can you please share your page in which you have added form and document.addEventListener code here so other can check it
@saidaboukhadra I’m using the latest WordPress 5.6.2 with the Twenty Twenty-One theme version 1.1 and single plugin Elementor version 3.1.1.
