Thanks for your feedback. It occurred to me that the problem with with me, actually, in that I used simply [um_loggedin] instead of [um_loggedin show_lock=no].

correction. I am able to edit. The window opened outside of my view.

Thank you, but when I click on the pencil, nothing happens. That’s the problem. I can see the remote connection name but can’t edit it because it apparently no longer points to a valid address. Again, when I set it up originally, I assume that I use the URI and not an IP address. It worked fine until SiteGround had their problem.
I CAN access the remote database using other methods but not via wpda.Question for advanced users: Where in the WP database is the WPDataAccess rdp definition stored?
I see I have options:
1. alter the (I assume) single record that contains the remote database connection info
or
2. create a new rdp definition and update all publisher records to use the new rdp def.
