I am also running into this issue. IE 11 runs into “String Expected” and fails to work. Firefox/Safari/Chrome did not have this issue.

versions 5.3.8 and 5.4.1 both exhibited the error in IE. We downgraded to 5.3.0 and no longer see the issue.

@dcooney I did see some references to core-js and ordering when building webpack.

some similarly mentioned issues…but still not sure root cause

you don’t need WinCache Object Cache Backend if you’re using W3 Total Cache
