In reply to: Editing problems since upgrading to WordPress 4.9Thanks for solving my editing problems since upgrading to WordPress 4.9. Switching to informal German was the trick, but has the downside of unprofessional appearance.
So if you need formal German (as most business sites will do) try this: just rename the files in your language directory. Firstly you should rename de_DE.mo to de_DE_informal.mo and de_DE_formal.mo to de_DE.mo. Then you should do the same with all other .mo-files like admin_de_DE_formal.mo or twentytwelve-de_DE_formal.mo. Läuft für mich.- This reply was modified 8 years, 2 months ago by hjmeyer.

herzlichen Dank für die schnelle Antwort! Die Begründung leuchtet ein. Da mein Forum in einer geschlossenen Benutzergruppe verwendet werden soll, ist die Interessenlage anders. Der Filter wäre natürlich toll. Da das Drittanbieter-Programm auch originäre WP-Felder einbindet (Name, Vorname, E-Mail), ließen sich dann wahrscheinlich auch die Benutzergruppen einbinden. Es ist für mich keine dringende Frage, daher entscheide bitte selbst über Deine Prioritäten. Ich glaube aber, dass auch einige andere Nutzer nach einer Selbsteinschreibemöglichkeit suchen.
