His resolution was to use another plugin. That’s hardly resolving the matter.

In reply to: [Two Factor Authentication] No longer able to have function website w 1.12I have encountered the same issue – this update on my personal blog site has caused WordPress to fatal error. PHP is 7.4.
I have this plugin installed on about a quite large number of sites, but definitely not pushing updates to the plugin to any more!
commenting out the rating using html comments helped. Still ugly without the rotators. I might just shut the pages down.
wp cron is not disabled, but I’m using cloudflare which might interfere.
I have no units setup so I’ve inserted comments around the %rating% seciton of the default display. It’s still ugly as can be, and while I understand you have carousel in your pro version, I’m not sold on the price to be honest, as your website does not make it clear if that’s one off or annually. As a hobby site, the earnings don’t support your price if that’s annually.

In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] Folder permissions errorThis plugin doesn’t actually do much with the folder, I thought it was to store images of the products, but it seems to just put a geolite db and an empty folder in this folder.
Either open permissions on the downloads folder, or make a folder elsewhere with write permissions for your webserver process to get the thumbnails and put them there.
My folder is also 755, but it rather depends on how your webserver is setup.
My folder:
/home/MYUSERNAME/www/wp-content/uploads/amazon-associates-link-builder/
Try 775 on JUST the folder, if the folder is not created, make it first and then try 775 once more, then report back with your results please.

yes – my code is full of comments – you have it correct. Those lines should fix the problems.

In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] Always ThrottlingI’ve also noticed that my wp-options table has become bogged down with 133,000+ rows from this plugin. Option value indicates it’s some kind of cache record. I culled the oldest 132,000 records and my site responds faster and the plugin seems to be a little better behaved. I also implemented the const UPDATE_TABLE_CRON_SCHEDULE_DEFAULT_VALUE = 43200;

In reply to: [Stream] Had to roll back to 3.2.0This is a total pain – I have had to set 76 WordPress installations to reverted or deactivated this morning because of this problems.
in my cases, and I’ve found at least 6 sites doing this without digging into customer/managed sites, they are all posts to the home page or / on the site. I wonder if it has anything to do with our migration method. We always develop on a subdomain and migrate using updraftplus+migrator. The vc-cycling site was a port from another cycling site for the same site owner, again, updraftplus migration, but not from a subdomain, just a totally different domain.
16 of the sites I have managed are running jetpack – and as every day goes by, the cleanup is getting more and more work. 🙁
no wordfence premium. Wordfence is not on all the sites doing this.

jetpack/sync/class.jetpack-sync-settings.phpon our own site – it’s 02:00 – looking at the apache logs for 02:00:00 to 02:00:59 the common thing I find is a “POST /wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=[blah]” – where [blah] is my removing the real url details in case they’re able to be mis-used.
not sure if this is relevant, but all sites are on cloudflare free service.
