Crossing fingers, this feature should be available with WP 6.5
See:
Syncing specific blocks and attributes of patterns
Roadmap to 6.5
This does the trick, in most instances.
Dequeue the plugin’s scripts everywhere except on the page where you need them.
To do so, use the following plugin : “WordPress Assets manager, dequeue scripts, dequeue styles” from webcraftic (free, fully functionnal). Does exactly the same as some premium plugins designed for that task.
Note : this solution obviously won’t work if the contact form is used on a page where the “scroll to” element is used, however. This conflict should be fixed by the Contact Form 7 Material Design plugin developer.
Same issue here.

The option to store the uploaded files in a permanent folder (and store at least the links to them in flamingo) would open up new use cases.
Contact Form 7 could be used to set up a customer area, for instance – storing all requests, uploaded files included when that is the case.
The “WordPress File Upload” plugin does store the uploaded file (in a folder of your own choosing), as its name implies, with additional data fields at will – there is a nifty built-in form builder, actually- , AND it does log any data submission in its dashboard viewer even if no files are uploaded .

Thanks, I shall do that. I believe this is a question of interest for many would be users, however.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Icons not showingOK I found the culprit in my case: a Chrome extension, “AdBlock Plus”, which I was trying for comparison with the original AdBlock.
Overall much less efficient despite the developer’s affirmation of the contrary (ads in gmail showed up again). And as far as we are concerned here, blocking stuff that shouldn’t because of a Social Blocking List installed by default.
Extension deleted, problem solved.
Could be. Getting \b to work with utf-8 charset seems to be a frequent pb (lots of related issues on stackoverflow).
I shall ask the sys admin as it is definitely not my domain of expertise.Let’s see. I did not uncheck the non ACSII characters option.
Minimum word length for indexing is set at 3.If I type a keyword and a distinct random single letter in the search field, for instance, the highlights will show the keyword and every occurrence of the single letter in the snippet, inside words.
If I only search for the same single letter there are no results, as expected.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Icons not showingSame issue since last update (done today) – even worse: small icons not showing either.
No problem seeing icons on the addtoany website.
Disabled the plugin & activated it again, to no avail.
Switched theme: ditto.
The website’s code has not been modified.FYI: code output from example web page’s source, using the [addtoany] shortcode
<div class="addtoany_shortcode"><div class="a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_32 a2a_target addtoany_list" id="wpa2a_1"><a href="http://www.addtoany.com/add_to/google_plus?linkurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fexample%2F&linkname=example" title="Google+" rel="nofollow"></a><script type="text/javascript"><!-- wpa2a.script_load(); //--></script></div></div>Hi Tobias,
Yes I understand this is beyond the scope of TablePress.
Your plugin is already a great tool, providing 99,99% of what I wanted to accomplish. I can live with that 🙂If someone reading this, with some spare time and much better js skills than mine (that’s easy, I have none) would give it a try and contribute, he/she would be sure the combined benefits of tables in tabs and fixed headers would please quite a few WP users.
Thanks a lot again Tobias, and a happy new year, btw !
Gilbert
Thanks for the very fast answer, I am impressed 🙂
I was doing some research in the meanwhile and found some people had similar problems with datatables, fixed headers and tabs (regardless of WordPress).
They seem to have found a fix:
– remove/recreate the FH each time a tab is selected
Implementing it is quite beyond my knowledge, unfortunately.
You may have a clue?In any case, thanks again
Cheers,
Gil

In reply to: [Ultimate Posts Widget] Display custom post categorySame needs here.
It would be extremely useful to have a custom post category selector. For the time being only standard posts benefit from this possibility. This is quite restrictive.Otherwise nice plugin. Would be outstanding if it did not use TimThumb.
(I know, the security flaw which made the headlines a while ago has been fixed. Still, using the standard WordPress way of handling thumbnails would be better. Users can always add the image sizes they want to WordPress.)
