I’ve spent considerable time with hosting provider and by default PHP 8.0 for Fileinfo Extensions is supposedly enabled. However, have not been able to confirm. In addition, attempted to add lines below in php.ini without success. I saw another user at https://projectdmc.org/how-to-enable-php-fileinfo-extensions/ submitted the exact same issue but unfortunately, no response.
PHP.ini entries:
extension = php_fileinfo.dll
extension = fileinfo.so
I’m thinking there may be a bug within PHP 8.0 or some other issue that is causing the message below:
WP ADA Compliance Plugin – Additional Setup
PHP Fileinfo: Your server does not have the PHP Fileinfo Extensions enabled. Issues in theme content will not be corrected.
Have others reported similar issue? Are there sites that are confirmed using PHP 8.0 and the ADA Compliance plugin without message displaying?
The plugin was deactivated and activated as well.
