Yes. It is possible to use Emojis in Subject Line and Email content as well. The thing is the emoji icon should be in a Unicode format to be visible on any email client or device. Even sometimes few special Unicode symbols look different on different devices. You should test before you send real emails. I collected a few Unicode sources for you here:
