You should mention “EXIF” in the description of the plug-in page for ewww-image-optimizer . Hopefully, that way, this plug-in will appear when searching for “EXIF” in the WordPress.org plug-in directory, as I did.
Hello. That other issue is closed, so I’ll comment it here.
Wouldn’t it be possible to delete all EXIF metadata except the “orientation” metadata? That way, the images will be displayed the right way up, but at the same time, private data like GPS location info is stripped away.
