Hi @oolongm,
Could that there be another plugin or your page builder preventing this from happening?
I would recommend, if possible to test disabling all other plugins first to find if there is any conflicting plugins.Regards,
Erwin LukasHi @oolongm,
Could that the file is not yet sync’d to Cloudinary? How was this PDF inserted?
Is it inserted through Cloudinary ML or uploaded through WordPress?I’ve tested this on my WP environment, doesn’t seem to be an issue on both methods.
Regards,
Erwin LukasHi @mintcanary,
Thanks for the update. Let me check on this and I’ll get back to you.
Regards,
Erwin LukasHi @mintcanary
You can get the full list of plugins by going to the WP Admin page > Plugins, your URL should look like: https://www.example.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
Reason I’m asking for this is to check if there is a plugin that could be conflicting with Cloudinary’s plugin since v2.1.9 and I would like to reproduce this on my environment.
Or if it’s ok with you, I can take a look at your environment. If you are ok with that, please open a ticket on our Support Portal and provide the detail there.
Thanks,
Erwin LukasHi @mintcanary,
Thanks for the update. Can you also share the list of activated plugins?
Additionally, when using v2.1.9, does this apply to all your WP images or only on certain area? If only on certain area, can you share more details on which area? Thanks,

I believe you also reported this via Cloudinary Support. We will continue our conversation through that ticket.
Thanks,
Erwin LukasHi @mintcanary,
Can you share more detail on the issue you are having? You mentioned that the image paths stopped being replaced with Cloudinary URL, does this mean the URL points to your WP instance (
wp-content/uploads/)?Can you let me know more about your WP environment?
- WP version
- List of all activated plugins
- Theme used
- Page builder used
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Changing Public IdHi @matanzari,
I apologize that we completely missed this post and didn’t get back to you sooner.
It appears you are trying to change the public id upon syncing, and I’m glad to hear you found the solution by modifying our plugin. If I may ask, can you share your use-case why do you want to change the public id to something else instead of using the original filename?

In reply to: [Cloudinary - Deliver Images and Videos at Scale] Automatic Image FormatI’m not familiar nor an expert with pagespeed or hummingbird.
However, looking at pagespeed of your site, it shows a good result for images. Only potential saving mentioned there is your logo https://res.cloudinary.com/reviewdata/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/v1593542730/Logo_review_saude_beleza from 10kb to 6kb, by resizing to the right dimension. The image currently has dimension of 999 x 139px with 10.32KB for webp format.
However your site display this image with 235 x 33px. By sizing this down to this dimension with Cloudinary, the image size would be 2.69KB for webp format:Hope this helps.

Erwin LukasHi Praveen,
If you installed v2 of the plugin, it should return previous URL, since URL generations is done on-the-fly.
When you said that you are trying to install a new plugin, which plugin are you referring to?
What does the URL look like when Cloudinary plugin is deactivated?Regards,
Erwin LukasHi,
Thanks for the update and glad to hear v2.0.3 works for you. We are planning to have this fix as early as next week.
