Thanks for the response.
No, I’m just running the plugin and it’s otherwise working well. I had a look at your extension for bbPress but it gave me sticker shock (schoolteacher with a puny salary).

In reply to: [bbp style pack] Restore DefaultsDadblam it! I swear… Between my devices, my router, my ISP, my host, and who knows what in between, I’ve got the stickiest and stubbornest cache on Earth… Never mind! Thanks! I’m gonna give myself a dope slap, and give you a donation for the awesome plugin!

In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] Hamburger to Upper Right CornerDammit. I did find that and did try it before requesting support and it did not seem to do the job. I think probably it was a sticky cache issue because now there it is right where I wanted it! Thanks.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Featured Image BehaviorThanks, and perhaps a live look will make more sense: What you’ll see is a header image (the boy and the girl) and then as you scroll down you’ll see the featured image I inserted on the ‘Sample Page’ that crops off the top of the image in an ugly way… And surely I should not have to fiddle with CSS to make that behave?

In reply to: [OnePress] News Section Post Thumbnail ImagesHey congthien, that does not seem to have had any effect.
So I copied the content-list.php from the parent to the child theme folder…
Opened the content-list.php file in the Theme editor and replaced the_post_thumbnail( ‘onepress-blog-small’ ); with this line: the_post_thumbnail( ‘post-thumbnail’ );
No change to the preview images on the ‘News’ section…
Seems like it really wants to have a 300×150 jpg in the Featured Image which I guess I can do without too much trouble…
Thanks again for the great support!

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Content Down ArrowYes sir, I was copying the code from the parent theme, did my editing in Notepad+, and copied the code to the child’s styles.css
And thanks again for the awesome tip!

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Content Down ArrowYes, I took Andrew’s code as a start and spent a good chunk of my Sunday googling after a bunch of CSS tutorials… Changed the black square background to a maroon circle, and made the arrow bigger and brighter… I copied all the relevant code in the styles.css file and pasted to a text editor where it tooks a lot of googling, trial and error to figure out… Good lluck!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Minify via disk is currently disabledJeremy, there is a separate setting to enable minify via disk. Scroll down some and keep looking – I think in the ‘General Settings’?

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] 2.2.15 UpdateResolved by reordering the plugins to have Countdown load after W3. Found the Plugin Organizer that lets you reorder them easily.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] T(-) Countdown Plugin UpgradeThanks anyway – found a plugin that lets you reorder plugins. When I moved the countdown load order after W3 that seems to have resolved the issue.

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] 2.2.15 UpdateYeah, seems like I’ve been there before and have worked it out a time or two. It appears that something in 2.2.15 has upset things. I’ll try the W3 folks and see what they say.

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] 2.2.15 UpdateThanks, and sorry to forget that link: misterthompson.com
Found two plugins that previously got along with T(-) but now seem to break it: W3 Total Cache and “Remove query strings from static resources”
Deactivating those plugins fix my countdown.
I will reactivate W3 and the Remove Query Strings so that you can see it when broken.
And I’ll try a different skin too just for the fun of it…
Many thanks again.
