In reply to: How to list all posts when viewing category..I only want my categories to be affected though, My index page is fine.
And why does it need to have a home.php page, I’ve never seen a template use home.php instead of index.php?Edit: Right now I am using the code (you provided) on my index and displaying a limited amount of posts for only the index and I’ve changed the default number to 100 so it will display 100 or so posts for everything except the index, which is fine.. Is this what you were suggesting? It seems to work fine without having to create a home.php page as well.
Edit 2: Actually my pagination broke if I used it on my index.. Gave me an error when you click previous page.
Thanks

In reply to: WordPress being slow even in admin backend.Your attitude is not helping, I advise you to stop replying in my thread.

In reply to: WordPress being slow even in admin backend.I know you’re trying to help but you’re leaving alot of things unsaid.. If plugins are the main reason that wordpress sites are slow, I will then attempt to deactivate some of them tonight. The way you make it sound is like “Duh how are you supposed to fix it if you don’t deactivate a plugin” as if I’m supposed to know that the solution to my problem is specifically a plugin or something.
I’d still like to know work-arounds that do not effect my template or plugins because at 2pm in the middle of the day I do not think it’s an appropriate time to take down my site to fiddle with the modifications and plugins since I’ve already had downtime this morning from fixing a plugin.
Thank you..

In reply to: WordPress being slow even in admin backend.I don’t have any plugins that I can simply deactivate, the ones activated are vital and in use. My theme was created from a sandbox theme so it’s only custom, I wouldn’t think it would effect my admin panel since the admin panel is not effected by the theme.

In reply to: WordPress Uploading Problem/FileSize/Flash-Browser UploaderOkay I did some research and it appears it may actually be a bluehost thing, these people have tried to restart apache and say it’s not necessary and that there’s a 2mb upload limit.
But thank you, I will try finding an FTP plugin.

In reply to: WordPress Uploading Problem/FileSize/Flash-Browser UploaderYes the post_max_size is 20mb, There are no lines that even say “2mb”
Also I don’t know how to “Re-start” apache as I don’t actually know what it is.Just wanted to thank you Jarod for your help, helped me as well.
