In reply to: [WooCommerce] Display zero balance on paid invoiceThanks Doug.
The site is http://www.globalleadershipfoundation.com. Mostly our sales are for event tickets, though we have some products. We accept payment by credit card online or by invoice.
A typical scenario would be:
– customer places order and chooses ‘pay by invoice’
– we receive a notification of the new order, which has status ‘on hold’
– we send an invoice to the customer (outside of Woocommerce) and change the order status to ‘processing’
– once payment is made, we change the status to ‘completed’. At that point the system sends out an email ‘customer-completed-order.php’. The email looks like this: https://monosnap.com/file/Zw5zfeizPCIo9M33oBAIWaJjjBIdeYThe problem is that this email shows no indication that the invoice has in fact already been paid. This is what causes some confusion. I guess we could change the text, but it would be nicer if we could include lines for ‘Amount received’ and ‘Balance outstanding’ on the invoice.

I don’t know if this will help you redneony, but I’ve found a workaround that more-or-less works for me.
I have set up two galleries: ‘queue’ and ‘daily’. In the ‘daily’ gallery are images already posted; in the other are images waiting to be posted. When adding posts, I insert the image using the NextGen image id, e.g.
[singlepic id=21 w=600 h=600 float=center]The image id doesn’t change when you move an image between galleries, so in this way I can schedule to post an image from the ‘queue’ gallery. Then, when I have time, I move the posted image(s) from ‘queue’ to ‘daily’, which makes them visible on my archive gallery page, which only draws from the ‘daily’ gallery.
Hope that makes some sense. Bottom line: my scheduled posts make new images visible without having to make them visible on the gallery page first. Adding to images to the visible gallery needs to happen manually.
I’m wondering if you heard anything or made any progress on this as I’m keen to access the same functionality.
I’m using Nextgen to ‘feed’ a daily blog. The posts are scheduled no problem, but the images I’ve added to the gallery by way of a ‘queue’ waiting to be posted show up on the gallery page before I want them to.
