Thanks for the reply, but I fixed the broken link problem. Luigi
Thanks for the help you give me and I’m sorry to ask so much I activated everything but still the email arrives but the link with {verify_email_link} arrives corrupted so you can’t click, any ideas why? Thanks , Luigi
Dear Academy LMS Support Team,
I am writing to report a critical issue regarding the user registration process on my website.
The Problem: When a new user tries to register, the system returns an “undefined” error message on the screen. However, I have discovered that the user is actually created in the database.
Troubleshooting performed:
- I performed a clean conflict test by deactivating WooCommerce and all payment gateways (PayPal). The “undefined” error persisted, ruling out third-party plugin conflicts.
- I found that the verification email is triggered, but the
{verify_email_link}variable generates a corrupted/broken link (it appears partially as plain text and is not fully clickable). - The Solution found: If I disable “Email Verification” in the Academy LMS settings, the “undefined” error disappears and the registration process works perfectly, redirecting the user to the dashboard.
My Analysis: It appears that the process of generating the encrypted verification link or sending the HTML email is causing an AJAX timeout or a fatal crash, which results in the “undefined” response on the frontend.
Request: Could you please investigate why the
{verify_email_link}is being corrupted and why its generation causes the registration script to fail? I would like to keep the email verification active, but currently, it is impossible to use.I am using both Academy LMS and Academy LMS Pro.
Looking forward to your technical feedback.
Best regards, Luigi
Subject: Follow-up: Registration “undefined” error persists after update and cache purge
Message: Dear Support Team,
Thank you for your previous response. I have strictly followed all your instructions:
- Updated Academy LMS to the latest version (3.7.0).
- Purged all caches (using WP-Optimize, server cache, and testing in Incognito mode).
- Reset Permalinks multiple times.
- Synchronized the license in the “Account” section of the plugin.
Despite these steps, the “undefined” error still occurs during student registration.
However, I found a critical clue in my WordPress Site Health: The scheduled event
fs_install_sync_academy-prois failing to run (it is “late”). It seems there is a synchronization issue with Freemius/License during the registration process.Direct link to my registration page:
https://www.beataverita.com/registrazione-studenti/Could you please investigate if this Freemius sync failure is what triggers the “undefined” response? Is there a specific REST API endpoint I should ask my hosting provider to whitelist?
Best regards. luigi
