In reply to: [CodingBunny LLMs.txt Generator] The Best Structured LLM Metadata GeneratorThank you so much for your positive review!
We are really happy that you appreciate our work. Our goal is to offer developers and website owners a comprehensive, transparent, and technically advanced tool to effectively manage indexing by AI crawlers.
It was a pleasure working with you to resolve the minor technical issue—feedback helps us to continuously improve.
Thank you again for your trust and for sharing your experience with the community!Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, we really appreciate it.
You are absolutely right that the missing Content-Type header could cause encoding issues on some clients or crawlers.
We have taken note of this and will include proper header handling/server configuration in the next version of the plugin, which will be available shortly.
Thank you again for your helpful input!
Could you give us some more details about the problem? We can’t reproduce it here: even when we open your llms.txt file, we can see all the characters correctly.

It would be helpful to know how you are viewing the file — through a browser or with a text editor?
If you are opening it in a browser, could you tell us which one(s) you are using?
Thank you very much for your cooperation!Hello!
I think there has been a misunderstanding: the files generated by our plugin are always saved in UTF-8, 100% guaranteed.
The problem you are experiencing with the display is due to the fact that when opening text files directly, different browsers do not automatically set UTF-8 encoding, but often choose ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1) or other fallbacks, thus causing “strange” characters to appear.
If you want to view the file correctly, you can choose one of these three solutions:- Open the file by clicking on the “View” link in the Generated file section of our plugin.
- Use a text editor (such as Notepad, VS Code, Sublime Text, TextEdit, etc.) that recognizes and displays UTF-8 correctly.
- View the file in your browser and then manually set the encoding to UTF-8.
In conclusion, the files are correct: you just need to make sure that the program you use to open them uses UTF-8 encoding.
Hello!
Can you confirm whether the incorrect character encoding occurs in the file preview in the browser or when opening the llms.txt file in a text editor?
With version 1.0.3 of the plugin, we have improved the handling of UTF-8 encoding in the generated file.
In some cases, however, the preview in the browser may show incorrect characters: this depends on the browser display settings, not the file itself.
We assure you that the llms.txt file is correctly encoded in UTF-8, therefore compatible and readable by AI crawlers.
If you want to verify the correct display in the browser, you can check that the page encoding is set to UTF-8 (the procedure may vary slightly depending on the browser used).
