@wfasa I did send the error to my web host and they said there was nothing wrong and that I should contact Wordfence about it. The thought was that the error message might have been talking about connecting to the Wordfence cloud rather than my database.
I’m not sure what to do at this point. It used to work fine but not in the last month, according to the logs. I checked the config and database settings and they are correct. What else should I be looking for?
I am having a similar error – “Scan terminated with error: Unable to query database” and the scan fails. I have sent the diagnostics report as you instructed above. I’ve been searching for solutions for 2 days now.
I have 2 WordPress sites on the same host that are having this same problem and have had their support team do all they can. They said I must ask you for help now because there is nothing awry on their servers that should cause this problem.
I completely removed Wordfence from one of the sites and reinstalled it, but am still having the same connection problem. I even deselected the Enable SSL Verification setting under Debugging Options, with no change in results.
Hope you can help.
