In reply to: Making Page Transparent for a Specific Page TemplateHey Zak,
I’m not sure that I understand what you mean by make the page transparent?
The page is the canvas that you build from, so that will always need to be there, you can’t get rid of that.
Once you start adding different sections to the page, you could certainly make text box backgrounds e.t.c transparent, however to add a gallery this isn’t necessary as the images would just show up in the carousel.
You can show the images in many different ways…add an image feed, upload to your media, create a carousel, add as a widget, create a lightbox gallery e.t.c and this will achieve what you are looking to create.
Many thanks,

In reply to: how to change the footerHey,
So, all themes have a footer, you wouldn’t ever need to download one as it’s not something that you can download, it’s just a section of your page.
*** Make sure that you activate the Plugin for it to show up ***
All that you need to do is to go to Appearance >>> Plugins >>> Search for the best plugin for your requirements from the free options, or you could pay for a premium plugin for external websites >>> Download / Upload the Plugin >>> Activate the plugin >>> Go to Appearance >>> Widgets >>> Your plugin will now show in the Available Widgets on the left hand side of the page >>> Then, just drag and drop the widget into the “Footer” box on the right hand side.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: Making Page Transparent for a Specific Page TemplateHey there,
I haven’t had experience with this theme personally, however in most cases in order to achieve the outcome that you’re looking for, all you need to do is as follows;
Click on the page that you’re looking to modify (In your case the gallery page)>>> On the right had side of the page you will notice a box that says “Publish”>>> Underneath that box you will see another box that says “Page Attributes” >>> From here, just select “Template = 100% Width”
Done!
Hope this helps,
Many thanks,

In reply to: how to change the footerGood afternoon,
Depending on what you’re looking to achieve, this is usually remedied by just adding a widget into your footer.
Just choose the type of widget that best suits your needs, subscribe form e.t.c. and you’re done!
Hope this helps,
All the very best,

In reply to: Oops that page can’t be found – main site page onlyHey Chris,
Please take a look at the following link, it’s an external blog, however it gives a great breakdown of how to resolve the issues you seem to be facing. It also gives great advice on making your links prettier.
If this does not resolve, please provide the URL and i’ll take a look for you.
Many thanks,
CNo problem my good man, happy to help!
OK just try something for me,
From your WP Admin, Go to settings >>> Reading Settings >>> Under the first heading titled “Front page displays”…From what you’ve told me it looks like you’ll need to set your settings to “A static page (select below)” >>> And then make sure that “Front page:” Is set to the page that you want displayed as your “Home Page” or (Blog) in your case.
It sounds like you’ve just deleted the Home page and just not changed the display settings.
This should resolve your problem!
Many Thanks,

Hey Kev,
It shouldn’t take too long to solve, but it could be a couple of things, What’s the URL for us to take a look?
Thanks,

In reply to: Oops that page can’t be found – main site page onlyHey Chris,
Start by going to Settings » Permalinks, and click on Save Changes button. This will update your permalinks settings and flush rewrite rules. In most cases this solution fixes the WordPress posts 404 error.
Try this first and if the problem persists let me know,
Charles
