In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Unable to track conversion goalsI have now resolved this by adding a function to the functions.php file and calling some javascript from that so I’ve not need for the plugin now.

The version of analytics code I am using is the latest version that uses gtag not ga. Does that make a difference?
I add the javascript code to the head section of the site but do I need to call it from the settings of the contact form?

In analytics the goal is setup as a contact us template with an goal type: event using the following
category = Contact Form
action = SentTHis shows in analaytics under behaviour but not in goals which is where I need it
Has there been any response from the developers regarding this issue?
