Although this sounds like a valid cause it did not solve the problem.
I added the code in functions.php. Would it make a difference if I used a mu-plugin?
The site still slows down dramatically after I activate burst and flush the cache. Before I flush the cache I can see statistics in the overview. After that everything is so slow I get lots of server error messages / you are possibly offline on the burst pages in:
do_action/get_article_data
do_action/otherpluginsdata
do_action/tasks
data/live-goals
data/live-visitors
data/today
do_action/trackingWhen I disable burst via ftp (renaming the folder) I get debug error messages. I suppose something is still running.

which I had once yesterday.Second Time it was a fatal error:
“PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “Burst\Frontend\Endpoint” not found in /www/htdocs/w01d8e91/galopponlinetest.de/wp-content/plugins/burst-statistics/src/Frontend/Tracking/class-tracking.php:629″I disabled minify / combine for js and tried again. After activating, the site was fast for a minute or two. I could refresh the home page and the burst dashboard a couple of times. And then without an appearent reason it slowed down again so I had to disable again via ftp. The debug entry was “…trait-goal.php” again.

due to massive traffic during the long weekend I had to deactivate burst so I could only try that out now.
I added delete_option to the functions.php and refreshed the dashboard a couple of times and loaded the home page. After that I removed the line.
SELECT count(*) FROMburst_statisticswhere page_id > 1 showed the number increasing, so something is still running. 13.5 out of about 14.5 million entries have a page_id by now. So this would still run some time.The page load is slower than ever, now affecting even the backend pages and the cached visitors view. So I had to deactivate burst in between testing.
I now have 3 new debug messages.
Every time I reactivate I get “Burst Statistics 2.2.7: Upgrading database tables for Burst Statistics”.
Possibly when I deactivate I get “Burst: Class Burst\Frontend\Goals\Goal not found in /www/htdocs/w01d8e91/galopponlinetest.de/wp-content/plugins/burst-statistics/src/Frontend/Goals/class-goal.php or /www/htdocs/w01d8e91/galopponlinetest.de/wp-content/plugins/burst-statistics/src/Frontend/Goals/trait-goal.php” 2 or 3 times.
Once I got “Burst: Class Burst\Admin\Statistics\Query_Data not found in /www/htdocs/w01d8e91/galopponlinetest.de/wp-content/plugins/burst-statistics_/src/Admin/Statistics/class-query-data.php or /www/htdocs/w01d8e91/galopponlinetest.de/wp-content/plugins/burst-statistics_/src/Admin/Statistics/trait-query-data.php” instead of the third trait-goal.php.
Due to the extreme performance issues I had to deactivate burst again.
What can I do now? How can I check, if the option is deleted and if/when the upgrade process stops? I did not find an entry in burst_options_settings. Can I reinstall the plugin without loosing data? Can I install an older version as a test?

On a first view it seems to work as expected. Only active votes are shown. When no vote is active none is shown. I will do more extensive tests later.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [YOP Poll] Show active polls not working correctlyThe expected behaviour would be that the latest active poll is shown. Active meaning you can currently vote. So it has to be between start and end dates. No future votes and no finished votes should be shown.
For some cases it might help to be able to activate and deactivate votes manually. It depends if people want to show future votes in advance or if they want to see former results until the next vote is started.
But I have three votes now and the middle, open (=active) vote is not even shown. It has to be possible to create a future vote while another is still running.

I originally only had after voting. I added after the ending. The outcome is the same.
Results are shown for [yop_poll id=”1″]. For [yop_poll id=”-1″] the LAST poll is shown. I had only identical clones so I did not see it before.
I also had a look with Query Monitor. This is the statement executed:
SELECT max(id)
FROM wepe_kwup_yoppoll_polls
WHEREstatus= ‘published’After that only details are loaded for poll nr. 3 (a new clone, not started yet)
All polls (ended, runnung, not started) have status published. And all poll elements of all polls have status = active.

Why is the other not excepted? I do need to see the results of the finished poll in a post. But I do not want to see a poll which is not a poll anymore.

I did some more tests. Here is the solution:
The id to post_content in the message body was wrong due to copy/paste. So even if all required fields where filled this resulted in an empty message body which resulted in the mail not being sent. The mail account had nothing to do with this.
The error message was simply misleading. When I installed an SMPT plugin I got a readable error message which lead to the solution.
And with a new automation the trigger works again.
So for the moment everything works as expected.
I changed the trigger setting to “user publishes … 20 times” with automation settings being still 0/0. After that the trigger fired but the automation did not start and no mail was tried to send and I have only got one log entry instead of three.

unfortunately this does not help at all. This is not the way a justified grid is supposed to work.
If the grid does not work for some users, a solution might be to have a flag leaving the option to have a fixed height or not to the user.
I am sorry but without that dynamic height feature the grid is not justified anymore and certainly not satisfying responsive. What is the use of a beautyful page filling gallery being cut of in the last row? Or a single full width row of images where I cannot use portrait images anymore? There are other plugins with a working justified grid. All of them show the last row with a different height. But I bought yours already (lifetime license) so I do not intend to change.
On top of this I have dozens if not hundreds of pages / posts which are now not shown correctly anymore. And I doubt my sites are the only ones affected. This would have happened to any justified grid showing a mixture of portrait and landscape images which is the whole idea of a justified grid. When all images have the same orientation I can use a fixed grid.
So please change it back to the way it was, possibly with the option of fixed height if sone users need that.

The permission is still 493. So the owner is not allowed to do anything but read. But anyone else can write and execute. This does not make any sense. Looks to me like you may have been hacked.
