Thanks esmi, I was able to get halfway there and get access to my admin panel. Following the instructions in moving WordPress, though, is not working to help me move my site. When I change my WordPress address (URI) and Blog address (URI) to the new directory of mysite.com/news and click save, it gives me the following error:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.
And then I can’t access my administration panel again and have to go back to Changing the Site again to get access. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. All of my WordPress files are in my root still (I haven’t moved them into the “news” directory yet). Sigh.
