Zip Code Validation Bug (Greece)
-
Hi Packlink Support Team, I am writing to report a critical issue with the Packlink PRO shipping plugin for
WooCommerce/WordPress that is currently disrupting my store’s checkout process for clients in Greece.
The Technical Issue:My clients are unable to complete their orders because the validation logic in the plugin does not recognize standard 5-digit Greek zip codes unless a space is manually inserted.
Failure Case: If a client enters a zip code like 10447, the system rejects it as invalid and blocks the shipment.
Success Case: The system only accepts the address if the user adds a space (e.g., 104 47).
Since most Greek customers naturally type their postal code as a single 5-digit string, this is causing significant friction and abandoned carts at checkout.
I have screenshots from my WordPress backend and the customer-facing checkout page showing this validation error in action.
Could you please update the plugin’s validation logic to ensure that Greek zip codes are recognized both with and without spaces?
This needs to be resolved ASAP as it is directly impacting my sales and my clients’ ability to ship.
