It looks like the response email to your support ticket failed to send in April. I’ve re-sent it just now; if you don’t see it in the next few minutes, can you let me know?
Thanks Christophe, I have received the following email from Jetpack Support team.
“We have received your support request, and our Jetpack support team will be in touch as soon as possible.”
The gist of the original email was this:
I checked your site and I can confirm that the site seems to be non-commercial, so it could use the Akismet Personal plan.
However, the API key is also protecting other sites that have commercial status, so the key needs a plan upgrade in order to work on all the sites its been added to.
To fix that, you have two options:
Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your reply. I believe I am using the same API key on my other two sites (The Choice and Grip Collective), both of which are non-commercial. Could you kindly check these sites and confirm whether I can continue using the same key?
Thanks again for your help!
Best regards,
Those sites look fine, but the key is also being used on https://libertyhijab.com/, which is commercial, as it sells products. Removing the key from that site would restore your account to non-commercial status.
I have checked the Libertyhijab.com website, and it is running the “Antispam Bee” plugin. I believe the “Akismet” plugin was uninstalled when we received the message about commercial use. After uninstalling the plugin, is there anything that needs to be done on the Libertyhijab.com website to ensure it doesn’t affect other non-commercial sites?
I appreciate all your help in this regard. Thanks
Thanks for confirming; I’ve unsuspended the key and Akismet on your other sites should start functioning normally again shortly.
Thanks for your prompt assistance, I really appreciate it. Have a great day!
