Thanks, for the link. This is more specific than the hook I’m using, even if there is a “test” inside that checks that a post is not an auto-save or revision.
When would you like it to send? Only when it’s first published? Published or an update is made?
I think my preference would just be publish. I wonder how hard it would be to have a checkbox for “Yo on update” or a pop-up asking? It also sends a Yo when the post is marked Private, but I think you can check that in the transition also?
Alright, I pushed up a new release. Now they’re sent for published posts, but not private posts and not for updated posts.
I doubt I’ll integrate any sort of checkbox or whatnot. It seems overkill and against the whole point of Yo. More importantly, I’m too lazy. 🙂
This project is open source, so if you want to take a stab at it, I will push any good updates up through the WP plugin. You can even fork it and release a competing plugin. The Yo wars!

Thanks again for the feedback!
The checkbox, etc does seem like overkill, I agree. I might play around with it when I have time. I’ve wanted to do some WordPress stuff, but never gotten around to it.
Again, I appreciate your work. Thanks!
You bet! If you dig it, give the plugin a review. I don’t know if people read those things but it can’t hurt…
