• I love that this plugin can add version numbers to the downloads, which is something I asked for a long time ago with the plugin I was using for this before. But I HATE how WPFactory feels the need to add yet another menu entry to my admin screen! Just put your plugin where it belongs, in the Tools or Settings menu. I don’t need another root entry in my menu for a plugin I will only setup once and then never use the options screen again.

Luckily Menu Editor by Janis Elsts enabled to me literally put WPFactory back in its place.

    [Edit]

I still don’t like the extra menu, but I was pleasantly surprised to get an actual response from the developer pointing out the reason for this. Added one star to my previous rating.

    Hi @rubencc,

Thanks for getting back to us, and for your kind words about our plugin — we’re really glad to hear you’ve found it useful and helpful!

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience you experienced with the new WPFactory dashboard menu. That said, we’d like to offer a bit more context that might help you reconsider your review:

We currently offer over 65+ plugins, and we have a large and growing customer base using them daily. Our aim is to consistently deliver high-quality products and support. With that in mind, we found that many plugin developers were placing their settings within the WooCommerce settings pages, which can become cluttered when multiple plugins are installed — especially when more than 3 or 4 start populating the same space.

To make things more organized and user-friendly, we decided to centralize all WPFactory plugin settings into a single dedicated menu. This structure simplifies site management, avoids conflicts, and gives users quicker access to related features — including the new License Key Manager, which is now built in (instead of requiring an additional plugin).

Of course, if you prefer not to use the WPFactory menu, you’re free to hide it — especially if you’re using the free versions, and we fully respect that choice.

We appreciate your feedback and are always open to improving. If there’s anything you’d like us to clarify or assist with, I’m here and happy to help.

Thanks again for your time and consideration!
    Best regards,
