Wrong link generated from mla shortcodes

    Hi,
    lately I have enabled HTTPS on my website and updated the website URL. With one of the latest Chrome updates I notices that downloads from my website are not working anymore. Apparently this is cause by a the wrong link of the files.

    All the links generated via shortcode are http:// instead of being https://
    Any hint about how to debug this?

    Actually relooking into the issue I think I am using a custom shortcode. I need to do some investigation before and check if the issue lays in my code on in the plugin.
