On PC: When I go to Stories Dashboard and copy the link for my actual webstory I get the correct online url

On Phone: Whe I go to Dashboard and want to copy the same link I get the backend link (mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php….) – That was NOT what I expected.

Share link also shares the wrong (backend) link. Have a hard time imagining this is intentional.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your report. This is possibly a side effect of having to zoom in on a single story and then selecting the option from the dropdown menu. We don’t officially support mobile devices in the editor or dashboard, so this is not something we currently plan to investigate.

Share link also shares the wrong (backend) link. Have a hard time imagining this is intentional.

Are you referring to the share link when viewing a single story on your website and then click to share the story? That sounds odd. If you could point me to a story where this happens, I can take a look.

Yes, ALSO the share link. The links from the WordPress Panel/Stories/Dashboard. Hover story and click the 3 dots. It happens on all stories. PC gives the right links. Phone deoesn’t.

Well, the main situation here is still that we don’t officially support mobile / tablet devices and we currently have no plans to change that I’m afraid.

I don’t get it. Thought WebStories/AMP was targeted at phones? So why is it the link on PC that works and not that on phone?

What I am saying is that the Dashboard is not optimized for phones.

Then I suggest you optimize it. Copying an internal link doesn’t make sense.
