    Hello Rogeriodec,

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your preview image. Can you confirm that the wrong image is not uploaded as the featured image for that particular page? Is that particular image used on any other post oor page on the website?

    The page seems to have no featured image

    However, if you open the link of this page, you’ll see that this image is the first image of a person on the page.

    It seems Yoast is ignoring the og:image and getting this first image.

    This isn’t so much of a problem if it’s just a bug in Yoast’s view while editing the page.
    My concern is that this image will appear incorrectly in other places, such as Google search.
    By the way, how can I confirm that this image will officially appear in any search?

    @rogeriodec Thanks for your reply.

    The Open Graph og:image meta tag that is output for your site’s page is configured in the Yoast SEO metabox under the Social tab by specifying an image for the ‘Facebook image’ setting. og:image is what Facebook uses for it’s preview image, and og:image can also be used by a number of other social media applications for the preview image.

    However, the Google preview that is shown on the first tab of the Yoast SEO metabox showing the first image that is contained on a page/post when a featured image is not specified for the page is the expected behavior. If you are trying to affect the image that is shown in Google’s results, we would recommend setting a featured image for the page. The og:image is primarily used for the preview image for Facebook, Twitter and similar applications, so the preview image you select for it should only be the image you intend for the preview shown on social media applications.
