Hello,

We are an SEO SaaS platform that has a new feature which allows you to implement SEO changes on your website directly from our platform. We have a large number of customers who use WordPress and the WP-Optimize plugin.

The feature works by adding a Javascript snippet to the customers website to implement the SEO changes made. We are having issues with the way that WP-Optimize delays/alters the loading of the script. Is there a way to be able to stop our script being cached/pre-loaded by WP-Optimize either by updating a setting or adding an additional tag to the script tag to ensure it’s ignored.

If your SEO plugin provides a shortcode (I assume it does if you are using snippets), you can use WP-Optimize’s “Do Not Cache” option for pages or content with specific short codes. This won’t directly exclude the .div, but it will prevent caching for the part of your page where the shortcode is placed.

As mentioned, we apply the snippet within the <head> of the customers website, so it is across all pages. Do you guys have a way of preventing WP-Optimize from interrupting the snippet?

@sophiehikeseo You could go to Dashboard => WP-Optimize => Minify => Advance tab and see list of processed files. You can click on show info link and exclude your script from being processed.
