@thomasrendleman,
I’m the lead plugin developer and I’ve never seen your name in support via LifterLMS.com or on the forums here. If you tried to use the chat function you should have been told to submit a support ticket and if you weren’t I’m very sorry about that. We resolve issues but if you don’t ever reach the support team you won’t be helped. This is common in software. We’re all trying our best to provide top notch support but we can’t help everyone if you don’t let us know what’s going on and try to work with us. It’s a wild world of servers and other plugins out there. I’m sorry if LifterLMS didn’t work out of the box for you but if you want to continue using it please post a thread in the support forms with your system report and I’ll help you out.
There’s a pretty common practice in plugins to not automatically remove all data during plugin removal. You can follow plugins like WooCommerce or EDD or other big ones that retain data during removal. This is done so that you don’t have to restart if you disabled / delete a plugin for debugging reasons or to update manually.
We follow suit and if you want to remove ALL data you can by following this guide: https://lifterlms.com/docs/remove-lifterlms-data-plugin-uninstallation/
So yes, reinstall LifterLMS, follow the guide, and then delete and uninstall and all the roles, pages, post, database tables, and so on will all be removed for you.
Finally, I’m pretty certain that the worst plugin ever deserves 1-star not 5. Please update accordingly I don’t want you misleading anyone.
