• [Edit] After leaving my original review, they contacted me (of course) and the level of support increased dramatically. They fixed the hard-refresh issue with a new update to the plugin and that seems to have taken care of the publishing issue as well. Testing is ongoing since their x.1.6 release. It was difficult getting them to put a competent, understandable support person on the issues, but once they did things got moving in the right direction. The plugin is doing what it’s supposed to do and I’m a happy customer.

First, I couldn’t view saved values in settings without hard-refreshing the browser tab, then it started publishing posts that were scheduled, showing the scheduled time as the time it was published even though that was in the future. Yes, it has a setting for that, and ys mine is definitely turned off to prevent that. It was random and a major problem.

I paid for the pro version and contacted support to no avail. They still haven’t figured out the refresh issue more than a month later, and that was after a week of daily emails back and forth with useless scripts (pre-written responses) and questions I had already answered in detail in my original ticket.

Overall, I wish I hadn’t bought it. It’s designed to do exactly what I need it to do to make scheduling on a set schedule easier for new writers, but it can’t be relied upon. I could deal if it was just the settings refresh issue, but when I hit schedule for an hour from now and it immediately triggers other plugins for tweets and shares to a post that returns 404 because it’s published but not published (no idea how that works), that’s unusable.

And the auto-share to Facebook option only works if scheduled with this plugin; publishing and scheduling manually skip it. Even if every post could be scheduled (no time-sensitive news posts), this plugin isn’t worthy of dedicated use as-is.
