Hello @deadparrotsoftware
Yes, the plugin works on a multi-site WordPress installation. However, every instance would be independent of the rest. You cannot share products between different websites.
Best regards.
Was not necessarily worried about 1 product net wide.
Does that mean the plugin is installed on every sub-site on the network?
Or is it just some specific files or directories?
Thanks for your help 🙂
Sid
Hello @deadparrotsoftware
The plugin’s files are included only once, but if you activate it in all your network, will be generated a different set of database tables per website.
Best regards.
Ah, so the actual files being downloaded (after sale) are all on the main/primary network site? (where the plugin is actually installed)
Sid
Hello @deadparrotsoftware
Yes, all the files are stored in the same directory.
Best regards.
You have been very helpful which I appreciate! 🙂
Since all the download files are in one place for the entire multisite,
IF we had the same product (product.zip) offered/sold on, say, a dozen subsites,
then I assume that all buyers (regardless of which site they purchased it from)
would be downloading just the one product.zip file?
OR does the plugin require/place 12 product.zip files? (like in separate directories
or something?)
I don’t like to make assumptions – I prefer to ask the expert. 🙂
Sid
Hello @deadparrotsoftware
The plugin will generate only one file.
Best regards.
Excellant!
That is the plus of Multisites – you save space as only one copy of plugin installed,
and COST, as you typically you only need a single license for the “pro” edition of any
plugin.
When you will have 100+ sites on a multisite, that all adds up.
You have been very helpful, and QUICK! Thank you! 🙂
Sid
Hello @deadparrotsoftware
Exactly !!!!
However, I recommend you install the free version of the plugin for testing. And then upgrade it if it satisfies your project’s requirements.
Best regards.
Indeed we will. Thanks again 🙂
