WordPress showing Last Updated date instead of Published Date

    My WordPress is showing Last Updated date instead of Published Date. I want to show the Published Date in my posts. I can’t really find what seems to be the problem. Can anyone help me? Any way to fix it?

    If I’m not mistaken, WordPress displays the publication date by default. You may have accidentally changed the “Display last modified date” option in the “Post Date” block of your template.

    Edit the template where you are seeing the problem, open the list, select the “Post Date” block and make sure the “Display last modified date” option is disabled.

    Sadly, the theme does not have the option of “Last modified” or “Posted date” it just has the “Date” and that’s it. The theme we are using is JNews.
