WordPress order confirmation emails

Hi all,

I’ve been having problems with customers not receiving order confirmation emails for some time. I am confused by how wordpress is sending emails, or if it’s woocommerce. Woocommerce seems to have it’s own email settings.

In the email settings on the dashboard I have it configured for SMTP – I BELIEVE the settings are correct, although a test email seems not to be sending either. I am lost here and this problem has been going on for too long, I really need it fixed as it’s looking unprofessional, not to mention a breach of online and distance selling regulations in the Uk.

I’d really, really appreciate some help with this.
