Hello harmanwhitedrop,
Thank you for contacting Woo support.
I understand the issue you’re facing. Even though WooCommerce indicates that the folder is writable, the error message suggests there may be a problem with the file system configuration.
Could you contact your hosting provider to confirm that the file permissions and ownership are correctly set for the WooCommerce logs directory? They should be able to assist in ensuring that the file system is properly configured for direct writes.
Let me know about their response.
Best regards.
The folder wc logs has correct permession:
drwxrwxrwx 2 www-data www-data 4.0K Jul 16 11:40 wc-logs
Hi @harmanwhitedrop,
Can you check your system for disk storage? Another reason that could prevent writing to it could be storage capacity. Other than this, have you reached out to your hosting provider to learn more?
Additionally, we’d recommend updating your WooCommerce version to see if this fixes the issue. Please note that you’re running a non-supported version. At WooCommerce.com, we offer support when your site is using the latest release of the core WooCommerce plugin (and the main WordPress software) and the previous version before that. This is called L-1
(“Latest minus one version”), where the version number is in the format of x.y.z
— we focus on the second and then the first number.
For example, the current version of WooCommerce is 9.3.2
then the oldest WooCommerce version we support is 9.2.z
.
Please, keep us posted.
Thanks!
