    Hello there.

I’m facing an issue with my website. As soon as I activate Woocommerce whit the plugin of the theme (both updated to the latest version) the php_errorlog file starts getting bigger reaching 8 or more GB and defaulting my site. WordPress is also at the latest version.

I have been able to check it and this is the line of error that appears and takes space “WordPress database error Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’ etc.” but the variable is very very high.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @richardzed,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the details of the issue you’re experiencing. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially since it involves your site’s theme and its plugins.

To get a clearer picture of what’s happening, could you test by switching your theme to Storefront, disabling the other theme-related plugins, and keeping only WooCommerce active? After that, clear the error log and check whether the php_errorlog still fills up.

When you respond, please also include your system status report from WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support, and share it via Pastebin.
