widget title
-
Hi, is there a way to have a title for the widget?

Hi wpelvis, yes you can use a text widget and use
[google-translate]as shortcode inside of it.This will allow for having a title, since titles are provided with that widget type.
I will add this feature in the next release, as I understand that would be convenient.
Thanks!
Yes that was my first thought, but the design has each widget in a block of bg colour separate for each one, so that won’t work in this case.
Yes would be a good option, is pretty unusual not to have it for widgets.
thankswpelvis, can you explain how having a text widget there would be any different from having GLT widget there (besides the title)?
If each widget is separate bg colour, then a text widget would perform exactly the same as the Google Language Translator widget itself, except it would have a title.
Can you provide a link to your website? I can look at CSS for you if you add the text widget and show me. Then I can change the CSS so that it looks the way you want.
I would be very surprised if a text widget acts completely, totally differently than the GLT widget itself, but I guess it’s possible, as I always come to find new things. Haha.
Thanks so much!
ah sorry, I missed that you can put the shortcode into the text widget.
I have actually just added the text with css using.scg_widget #flags:after{content:" Translate this page";}Just tried putting the shortcode into a text widget, but it just prints the shortcode.
Ohh, actually I gave you wrong shortcode from above. Try this instead. Sorry:
[google-translator]That should work.
