Why require add_theme_support()? | WordPress.org

Is there a reason for requiring add_theme_support( 'genesis-connect-woocommerce' );?

To me, if I am activating this plugin and Genesis and WooCommerce are activated, it should just work.

Hi Jared,

This is a “Studiopress standard” for official SP plugins. I think most, if not all, SP plugins use add_theme_support in the same way.

By adding the code to the funtions.php still not working right with the theme.
