Why no proper basic language support?

Events Manager has never fully worked with WPML, and it only works with Polylang using some workarounds. And “The Events Calendar” is just as bad. Why?

I used to pay for Events Manager Pro, but its language support is getting worse instead of better (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-search-attributes/?_highlight=language#general-parameters is nonsense)… a simple filter for the events list/grid would be a huge help already, and Polylang and other plugins provide plenty of page attributes you could use.

Most of us don’t even need multiple locations… we can build custom language pages and sort out most redirects ourselves. But basic language support would be a huge help.
