    It’s almost 2026. It would be great if Fluent Forms just used vanilla JS.

    At the moment, Fluent Forms still relies on jQuery, especially for core components like the File Upload field and some interactive UI behaviors. These parts were built on jQuery to ensure broad browser compatibility, stability, and predictable behavior across a wide range of WordPress setups.

    We continuously evaluate modern JS approaches and refactor where it makes sense, but any transition away from jQuery has to be done carefully to avoid breaking existing forms and integrations.

    We appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind as the product evolves.

    Yes, the developers should look into it and update to Vanilla JS.
