You may have a problem with your database, try changind the database name and password and try installing wordpress and theme again.
I did and it has not worked.
Please describe what happens. When you add new content (what type of content — pages, posts, images?) do the database tables (i.e., wp_posts) update? Is the content directly viewable from the URL?
If posts, in SETTINGS->READING, what do you have listed at the posts page?
The previous reply regarding your database was bad advice, but it’s worth checking that your database is not corrupt. Using PHPMYADMIN from your hosting control panel, analyze (and repair, if necessary) the database.
All types of content disappears, my images, special headings, sections, text boxes, posts.
I think the data base table does update. The content is indeed directly viewable from the URL.
So the problem is… ? Do you have a caching plugin? Does your host do caching? Did you check the database as recommended?
What’s one of the URLs that’s available directly? And, again, what’s under settings->reading?
The problem is that all of the new content I try to add disappears.
We do not have a caching plugin. yes, WordPress does caching. This is what it says under settings-> reading

Is this enough information for the moderators? I still can’t figure this out after downloading a cache plug-in.
WordPress does not do caching. Please do not install a cache plugin right now as we’re trying to troubleshoot this. Change ONE THING AT TIME and evaluate the result.
What happens if you change the theme, temporarily, to something like twentytwentyone? If the same thing happens, then it’s not the theme. If it does, then the problem is in your theme.
If it’s not the theme, then disable *all* plugins. If that fixes it, then turn them back on one at a time until it breaks.
