Comme dit précédement le scoring est franchement magique, les concaténations ont l’air de bien fonctionner (pas de bug css et js) contrairement à d’autres plugins.
Mais dans le réel c’est plus lent si je l’active. Bien entendu je test sans aucune mise en cache (du coup dans les test le first byte est long), en incognito et sans être connecté à l’admin et avec seul plugin d’optimisation Autoptimize (je combine avec d’autres après). Et je perçois en temps réel la page qui charge plus ou moins vite en fonction des plugins que j’active ou je désactive. Et Autoptimize fait parti des plugins qui me ralentissent le chargement le plus significativement si activé avec pas mal de fonction. Ce qui est assez paradoxal.
C’est systématique, et ça le fait depuis toujours et sur tout mes sites et ce même en cochant la moindre option et au moins les basiques pour que l’optimisation de fichiers prennent effet.
Je précise que je souhaite que ce soit rapide sans cache déjà (même si je vais en activer un après coup) car le site sera un e-commerce comportant beaucoup de produits donc à chaque fois ce sera une nouvelle page produit qui chargera et donc le cache est inutile (si je ne dis pas de bêtise).

So I compared the 2 test result URL’s and all numbers (so not only scores but time-based KPI’s such as first paint, onLoad and fully loaded) are better when AO is active. Look at this comparison of all numbers on graphs, with the red dots being with AO and the green ones without.
Regarding the use of page caching; I would recommend it even for a e-commerce site with a lot of products; I guess you would expect (hope) for some “hero” products to be accessed by a lot of customers, so having that served from cache would be highly recommended really. If not you risk a higher load on your server, resulting in even longer time to first bytes 🙂

This option is called “instant page” it’s about preload i think. This is the option who give the best instant speed result that i seen (without caching). And then great user experience.
It would be great if you can add this feature

adding “instant page” (or Google’s Quicklink) is not on the short term roadmap, but it might be added at a later stage.

Yes i combine it with your plugin and i clean wordpress core and theme with some php code and i have “A” everywhere. Very good mixing.
