• Have you looked into how it may be possible to swap JPG files with the WEBP versions for images that are called from jquery scripts?

I have a gallery plugin that I am using and it populates thumbnails using jquery when dom ready completes. As such, at the moment, there are no WebP versions getting used on the page.

I also have noticed that it won’t replace images defined in CSS

Cache Enabler looks at your HTML markup for images that have a .webp alternative stored on your server and then caches a copy of that page with the .webp images. However, at this time it can’t see images loaded via CSS or Jquery.
