I think that the webfont.css needs `font-display: swap;’ at the ends? For avoid FOIT in most modern browsers? See the https://web.dev/font-display/#how-to-avoid-showing-invisible-text

Thanks to point us to this question.
The best option for icon fonts is thefont-display: block;, otherwise you will see squares while loading. With theswapvalue you will see some random characters that are bad for UX.We’ll add a solution to the upcoming update.
