Visual Composer Frontend Builder not loading

Hello there, I’m currently building a WordPress website using themeforest’s theme “Werkstatt”.
This theme recommends using Visual Composer as a builder, and Lingotek for the translation of the website.

Now here is the thing : I’ve translated my homepage in French and I’d now like to edit the page with the builder, but the page won’t load. Even after waiting for 30mins I still get the “loading” icon of Visual Composer.
Though with the English version of this page the builder loads in 5seconds and I have no problem.

Does anybody know why I am getting this problem and how to fix it?
